Lead AWS Cloud Architect

About the role

We are seeking a Lead AWS Cloud Architect to define and drive our cloud strategy across the organization. The role combines technical leadership with hands‑on design of secure, compliant cloud solutions for regulated industries.

Key responsibilities

• Mentor and guide a team of 10+ cloud architects and engineers.
• Define and evolve the AWS architecture strategy aligned with business and regulatory goals.
• Design and implement secure landing zones, multi‑account structures, and network segmentation.
• Develop multi‑layered security controls and ensure compliance with standards such as ISO 27001, NIST and CIS AWS Foundations.
• Collaborate with security, compliance, and business stakeholders to solve complex problems.
• Review designs, conduct security assessments, and enforce best‑practice standards.
• Champion modern approaches including serverless, containerization, micro‑services and event‑driven architectures.

Required profile

• Extensive experience designing and delivering large‑scale AWS solutions.
• Proven track record leading and mentoring technical teams.
• Deep knowledge of security, compliance and regulatory frameworks.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.

Required skills

• AWS services: EC2, Lambda, S3, VPC, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, RDS, DynamoDB, ECS/EKS, CloudFormation, Organizations, Control Tower, Security Hub.
• Secure Landing Zones and multi‑account strategies.
• Security frameworks: ISO 27001, NIST, CIS AWS Foundations Benchmark.
• Cloud‑native patterns: micro‑services, serverless, event‑driven systems, API design.
• Hybrid and multi‑cloud concepts, AWS Outposts integration.
