Key Account Manager Financial Services

About the role

Stater Belgium, the Belgian mortgage and consumer loan provider with more than 200,000 loans in its portfolio, is looking for a Key Account Manager to strengthen its commercial team. The role sits between the company and its customers, managing strategic relationships and driving commercial growth, and reports directly to the Sales Director. It is a full-time hybrid position.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and strengthen long-term relationships with existing customers and partners, acting as their trusted contact and strategic partner
• Monitor customer satisfaction and service quality, and organise commercial meetings and periodic customer reviews
• Act as bridge between customers and internal teams such as Operations, IT, Risk and Legal, and follow up on agreements, SLAs and KPIs
• Identify new opportunities, contribute to prospecting, proposals and RFPs, and present Stater's services persuasively
• Negotiate commercial terms and contracts while coordinating customer requests with internal stakeholders

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, supported by relevant experience
• Experience in B2B account management, preferably in finance, banking services or credit administration
• Good understanding of financial institutions; knowledge of mortgages is a strong advantage
• Structured, proactive and flexible, able to build trust and negotiate without relying on hierarchy
