About the role
Shape the future of draught beer packaging as a Keg & Draft Systems Innovation Engineer. You will develop next‑generation keg platforms, draught systems and Bottle‑in‑Bottle technologies for a global brewery network.
Key responsibilities
- Lead development of returnable keg, PerfectDraft and Bottle‑in‑Bottle packaging platforms.
- Design and optimise the interface between packaging, filling equipment and dispense systems.
- Validate new packaging solutions, suppliers and manufacturing processes before global rollout.
- Support brewery trials and industrial validation on production lines.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and external suppliers to bring innovations to industrial implementation.
Required profile
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Packaging, Materials or Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience developing or engineering keg systems, draught packaging or beverage container technologies.
- Hands‑on experience with filling, dispensing or packaging equipment in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven ability to work with suppliers, equipment manufacturers and cross‑functional engineering teams.
- Willingness to travel regularly to breweries and supplier sites.
Required skills
- Mechanical, packaging, materials or chemical engineering expertise.
- Keg system development and draught packaging engineering.
- Pressure‑vessel design and hygienic design principles.
- Bottle‑in‑Bottle technology, plastic blow‑moulding, extrusion and polymer packaging development.
- Experience with filling and dispensing equipment integration.
