Junior Tester

About the role

Quento Technologies, the ICT arm of the Qualco Group, is looking for a motivated Junior Tester to join its Brussels office. You will support the testing team in delivering high‑quality software solutions across AI, digital engineering, cloud and cybersecurity projects.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in evaluating and testing applications against defined requirements and standards.
• Specify, prepare and execute logical test cases and analyse the results.
• Perform integration testing to verify interactions between application components.
• Identify, document and report testing issues following established procedures.
• Produce and maintain technical and testing documentation.
• Support continuous improvement of testing processes, practices and tools.
• Carry out testing activities according to project plans and guidance from the Testing Specialist.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
• ISTQB or equivalent certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Entry‑level experience in software testing or quality assurance is a plus but not mandatory.
• Ability to work accurately, objectively and in a service‑oriented manner.
• Good oral and written communication skills in English and French (minimum B2/B1).
• Team player comfortable in an international environment.
