Junior Software Engineer

About the role

Join Unifly’s engineering team in Antwerp and help build the platform that enables safe, large‑scale drone operations. As a Junior Software Engineer you will work in an agile environment, contributing to core product features and project implementations while learning from senior colleagues.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in daily stand‑ups, sprint planning, code reviews and design discussions.
• Develop and maintain platform and API services.
• Implement project‑specific integrations and configurations.
• Contribute to automated test suites and ensure high code quality.
• Maintain technical documentation for internal and external audiences.
• Pair with teammates to troubleshoot issues and support customer deployments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in an IT‑related field (experience not required).
• Strong willingness to learn and grow under mentorship.
• Very good written and spoken English.
• Team‑oriented, problem‑solving attitude and interest in the drone industry.
• Availability for full‑time work (8 h/day) with at least two days per week on‑site.
