Junior Quantitative Auditor

About the role

As a Junior Quantitative Auditor you will combine advanced quantitative modelling with audit methodology to help banks and insurers validate the soundness of their risk frameworks. You will work on real‑world financial data, translate complex calculations into actionable insights, and support regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse credit, interest‑rate and market risk using sophisticated mathematical models.
• Audit valuation models for derivatives, options and technical provisions.
• Review compliance with Basel and Solvency II regulations and provide advisory support.
• Communicate quantitative findings to non‑technical stakeholders and draft clear recommendations.
• Collaborate with banks’ derivatives desks, credit risk departments, market‑risk teams and regulatory‑capital groups.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in actuarial science, financial engineering, applied mathematics or a related quantitative field.
• Strong interest in financial risk across credit, interest‑rate and market domains.
• Comfortable working with complex mathematical models for risk estimation and valuation.
• Excellent communication skills to explain technical topics to non‑specialists.
• Fluent in French and/or Dutch, with solid English proficiency.
