Junior Onsite IT Support Engineer (Ghent)

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Onsite IT Support Engineer to join a fast‑growing biotech environment in Ghent. You will be the first point of contact for end‑user incidents that require physical presence and will help ensure a smooth, secure IT experience for all staff.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary on‑site contact for all end‑user IT incidents and service requests.
• Stage, configure and deploy laptops and workstations for new starters.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues in collaboration with remote Global Delivery Centre teams.
• Perform functional testing after IT environment changes, including occasional weekend work.
• Support local IT projects that need hands‑on presence.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in an end‑user/onsite IT support role.
• Fluent in both Dutch and English.
• Self‑sufficient, structured and comfortable working directly with business stakeholders.
