Junior Fullstack Developer

About the role

Aerospacelab designs and manufactures small satellites and develops earth observation services, with offices in Belgium, France, Switzerland and the US. As a Junior Fullstack Developer you will join an agile development squad working on one of the company's Software-as-a-Service solutions, contributing to the design, implementation and testing of web-based software components.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and test software products.
• Write technical documentation and test procedures.
• Work on software that supports satellite operations, mission planning, data collection and processing, and information extraction.

Required profile

• Bachelor, Master or PhD degree in computer engineering or equivalent.
• Knowledge of Java and/or Python.
• Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git.
• Eligible to work from the Belgium office.
• Fluent English.

Required skills

• Knowledge of database systems such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Nice to have: experience with part of the tech stack, frontend development, space sector experience and image processing.
