Junior Back-End Node.js Developer

About the role

Vreg Technologies is seeking a motivated Junior Back-End Node.js Developer to join our growing team in Brasschaat. You will work on real‑world projects, building robust server‑side applications that power our clients' digital solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing and maintaining back‑end APIs and services using Node.js, Express.js, and NestJS.
• Collaborate with front‑end developers to integrate APIs with user interfaces.
• Write clean, secure, and well‑documented code following best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and team discussions.
• Continuously expand knowledge of back‑end technologies and architectural patterns.

Required profile

• Basic understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js.
• Familiarity with Express.js or similar frameworks.
• Knowledge of database design principles and ability to write SQL queries or work with NoSQL databases.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Eagerness to learn in a fast‑paced environment and strong teamwork skills.
