Java Software Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Java Software Engineer to join our development team. You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining high‑performance Java applications and services that support our business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and enhance Java/J2EE applications using Spring Boot 3.4.x and Hibernate.
• Design, implement, and document RESTful APIs with OpenAPI/Swagger.
• Collaborate with front‑end teams using JavaScript, HTML, CSS and frameworks such as Angular, React, Vue, or Bootstrap.
• Work with relational (PostgreSQL, Oracle) and non‑relational (MongoDB) databases, including schema design and query optimization.
• Maintain source control using Git (GitFlow, trunk‑based) and manage legacy codebases in SVN.
• Deploy and manage applications on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and provision infrastructure with Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or Azure Bicep.
• Integrate messaging and search technologies like Kafka and Elasticsearch.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience with Java/J2EE.
• Strong competence in Spring Boot, Hibernate, and REST API development.
• Solid understanding of front‑end fundamentals and modern build tools (Webpack, Vite).
• Experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Proficiency with Git workflows and familiarity with SVN.
• Hands‑on experience with cloud services and Infrastructure‑as‑Code tools.
• Knowledge of Kafka and Elasticsearch is essential.
