IT Workplace Support Engineer – Brussels

About the role

Qover is looking for an all‑round IT Workplace Support Engineer to own and improve the internal IT environment for its 150+ colleagues in Brussels. You will provide day‑to‑day support while driving key projects in hardware lifecycle, security, and infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Define, procure, and set up office IT equipment (screens, keyboards, docking stations, video‑conferencing tools).
• Build and maintain a detailed inventory of all active devices and implement an asset‑management tool.
• Audit hardware, plan upgrades or replacements for Windows laptops and MacBooks.
• Manage endpoint security, including antivirus, BitLocker and FileVault encryption, and recovery‑key processes.
• Oversee identity and access management, rationalise software usage, and roll out 2FA with the Security team.
• Standardise onboarding and off‑boarding procedures.
• Administer Google Workspace (Drive, Groups, users) and improve email encryption.
• Deliver basic IT security awareness training.
• Control network access, evaluate private‑network options, and deploy VPN for flexible work.
• Provide proactive daily support to end users.

Required profile

• Smart, driven, hands‑on problem‑solver.
• Willing to work on‑site in the Brussels office.
• 1‑3 years of experience in IT support or workplace engineering.

Required skills

• Windows operating system administration.
• macOS administration (including FileVault).
• BitLocker encryption management.
• Endpoint antivirus solutions.
• Google Workspace administration.
• VPN configuration and management.
• Two‑factor authentication (2FA) implementation.
• Asset‑management tooling.
