IT Support Engineer

About the role

ACENSI Belgium is looking for an IT Support Engineer to join its IT Care team. You will work with network, Windows, facilities and service‑management colleagues to prepare the workplace of the future, ensuring users receive high‑quality support.

Key responsibilities

• Distribute, install and maintain end‑user hardware, software and printing solutions.
• Handle service requests, access‑management requests and provide first‑line support for software and hardware issues.
• Capture, log and track technical issues using the ticketing system.
• Analyze tickets and metrics to identify recurring incidents and propose improvements.
• Suggest technical and technological changes to enhance user experience and team efficiency.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in an IT Service Desk environment.
• Fluent in French and Dutch with good English comprehension.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT or equivalent experience.
• Team player who shares knowledge and best practices.
• Customer‑oriented with strong listening skills and ability to translate technical matters into user‑friendly language.
