Internship Finance Analyst

About the role

Johnson & Johnson is recruiting interns for Finance Analyst positions within its Finance organization in Beerse, Antwerp, Belgium. The internship lasts a minimum of 12-16 weeks, 3-5 days per week, during January/February 2026 to May/June 2026, with flexible start and end dates. Hybrid working may be possible, and housing options may be explored for international students holding a valid EU work permit.

The Finance organization has four teams: Innovative Medicine R&D Finance, Treasury, Principal Operations (IMPO) and Supply Chain Finance. Interns contribute to financial reporting, data analysis, budgeting and forecasting, and to projects such as the transition to a new Treasury Management System.

Key responsibilities

• IM R&D: prepare monthly financial dashboards and management reports using Excel, Power BI and SAP data; develop proof-of-concept solutions for reporting and documentation; maintain finance master data and review data quality; support budget, forecast and month-end analysis; automate recurring reporting with Power Query, Power BI or Excel.
• IMPO: support routine accounting and controlling activities; help map processes and track improvement projects; maintain datasets and validate information for data analysis, reporting and forecasting.
• Treasury: support projects such as regional trading analysis, financial system enhancements and the transition to a new Treasury Management System, and bank relationship management.
• Supply Chain Finance: optimize SAP downloads in Excel for budget reviews, prepare budget vs. actuals reports, and support process improvements focused on automation and digitalization.

Required profile

• Masters or Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Commercial Engineering, not yet completed (preferably last-year Master students).
• Fluency in English.
• Technical aptitude, strong interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Familiarity with Copilot, Power BI, Chat GPT and other digital tools is a plus
