International Key Account Manager

About the role

Daikin Europe NV is seeking a driven International Key Account Manager to develop high‑value partnerships with global retail clients across the EMEA region. Based in Brussels, you will combine strategic relationship building with hands‑on sales execution to grow revenue and market share for our HVAC solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, target and secure new International Retail Key Accounts through prospecting, networking and business development.
• Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective retail clients to meet ambitious growth targets.
• Drive new‑business sales, revenue growth and profitability for Daikin Europe.
• Establish trust‑based relationships with key decision‑makers at both local and headquarters levels.
• Analyse retail market dynamics, map target organisations and identify high‑potential opportunities.
• Provide tailored HVAC solutions that address retail trends, sustainability goals and operational challenges.
• Oversee contract implementation across multiple countries, ensuring compliance and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and mobilise Daikin Group expertise to achieve business objectives.
• Negotiate frame agreements, organise client seminars and develop annual sales budget plans.
• Maintain a minimum of 40 key‑account meetings annually and monitor organisational changes to strengthen loyalty.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in engineering or economics (preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in Business Development, Strategic Sales or Key Account Management, preferably within the HVAC sector.
• Proven track record of acquiring and growing major international accounts.
• Strong prospecting, lead generation and closing skills.
• Ability to analyse market trends and translate them into value‑added solutions.
