International Arbitration Lawyer – Brussels

About the role

We are seeking a motivated lawyer to join our International Arbitration and Dispute Resolution team in Brussels. The successful candidate will work on high‑profile cross‑border arbitrations and related court proceedings, supporting clients across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Key responsibilities

• Represent clients in institutional and ad‑hoc international arbitrations.
• Handle setting‑aside and enforcement of arbitral awards and foreign judgments in Belgium and abroad.
• Advise on disputes arising from engineering & construction, commercial contracts, M&A and international law.
• Assist senior counsel on large‑scale construction arbitration matters.

Required profile

• Fluent English and native‑level French; additional languages are a plus.
• Excellent academic record from a Belgian university; an LL.M. from an English‑speaking jurisdiction is advantageous.
• 1‑3 years of experience in dispute resolution with a strong interest in international arbitration.
• Demonstrated legal reasoning, client‑focus and a proactive, hands‑on attitude.
