Internal Communication Specialist

About the role

Join Elia Belgium, a key player in the Belgian and European energy landscape, as an Internal Communication Specialist. You will help shape the narrative around the energy transition, supporting the integration of renewable sources, new infrastructure projects, and grid stability initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Head of Internal Communications in developing and executing the overall internal communications plan.
• Translate strategy into compelling stories, campaigns, and internal publications across intranet, mailings, digital screens, Elia TV, and more.
• Design and launch internal campaigns for events, safety, change processes, and branding.
• Collaborate with external creative agencies to produce videos, visuals, and other multimedia content.
• Create short internal videos using internal tools.
• Prepare and promote content for internal events.
• Monitor campaign performance and report results.

Required profile

• Degree in Communications or a related field.
• Approximately 4‑7 years of relevant experience in internal communications.
• Proven ability to develop strategic communication plans and execute them effectively.
• Strong editorial skills, with experience in copywriting, layout, and design.
