Interim B2B Business Director (3‑4 month assignment)

About the role

Nexeo seeks an experienced Interim B2B Business Director to steer its B2B commercial and product organization through a critical transformation phase. The role offers direct visibility with the executive team and the chance to lead high‑impact initiatives over a 3‑4 month period.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the B2B commercial and product teams during the transition.
• Drive annual budget preparation and align financial targets with strategy.
• Coach Sales Directors, Product Owners and Product Managers.
• Define objectives, monitor performance and ensure business targets are met.
• Oversee a flagship omnichannel platform project from design to pilot.
• Coordinate business, product, operational and IT stakeholders in a matrix environment.
• Prepare and present executive reports and recommendations.
• Maintain continuity of operations while keeping teams engaged.

Required profile

• Proven experience as Business Director, General Manager, Business Unit Director or equivalent.
• Strong leadership in commercial, logistics, supply‑chain or B2B settings.
• Track record of managing multidisciplinary teams and P&L responsibility.
• Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
• Ability to quickly grasp complex environments and deliver results.
