Import Logistics Coordinator

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Import Logistics Coordinator to join our Antwerp team. You will be responsible for managing the end‑to‑end import process, ensuring shipments are handled efficiently and in compliance with regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Process customer orders, verify plausibility, and manage order documentation.
• Plan, book, and coordinate transportation for import shipments.
• Handle customs clearance procedures and related documentation.
• Maintain accurate filing, invoicing, and internal reporting.
• Communicate shipment status to customers via email, phone, or EDI.
• Troubleshoot operational issues and report non‑conformities against KPIs.
• Collaborate with approved subcontractors, carriers, and internal departments.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics, forwarding operations, and customs documentation.
• Professional degree in logistics or forwarding is preferred.
• Strong organizational initiative to meet customer requirements.
• Polyvalent experience in both export and import is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience using Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) for shipment communication.
• Fluent English and at least two additional business languages.
