IAM Security Office Expert

About the role

You will join the Information Security team within AXA Belgium’s Security Office, working alongside IAM, Application & Cloud Security, Workplace and Data Leakage experts. Your primary mission is to protect AXA Belgium applications, platforms and data through robust Identity and Access Management (IAM) controls.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the IAM subject‑matter expert for the Security Office, overseeing end‑to‑end IAM processes across the AXA landscape.
• Review, measure and improve IAM maturity and effectiveness, aligning with ISO 27001 control objectives.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date IAM heatmap to provide a risk‑based view of assets.
• Define IAM strategy for business projects and ensure its implementation with application security teams.
• Produce clear presentations on IAM risks, strategy and current status for owners, management, auditors and internal controls.
• Develop the IAM roadmap based on heatmap findings, security instructions and business requirements.
• Participate in projects impacting IAM, ensuring proper security office requirements and BAU processes.
• Promote security culture and educate employees and IT departments on IAM risks and procedures.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of IAM concepts, processes and the AXA applicative landscape.
• Experience with ISO 27001 (ISO 27K) controls and risk‑based security assessments.
• Ability to collaborate with security architects, IT product teams and business stakeholders.
• Proven capability to produce clear, stakeholder‑focused documentation and presentations.
