Human Resources Director – UK, Benelux & Nordics

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Director to lead the people strategy across the UK, Benelux and Nordic regions for a leading international manufacturing business. Reporting to the Global HR leadership team, you will shape regional HR initiatives, support transformation programmes and build a high‑performing, engaged workforce across multiple sites and corporate functions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the HR strategy for the UK, Benelux and Nordics.
• Act as a trusted business partner to regional and global senior leaders.
• Drive organisational transformation, change management and cultural development.
• Lead talent management, succession planning and leadership development programmes.
• Champion employee engagement, performance management and organisational effectiveness.
• Provide expert guidance on employee relations, including union and works council matters.
• Manage and develop the regional HR team in alignment with the global people strategy.
• Support business growth, organisational design and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven HR leadership experience in an international manufacturing, industrial or engineering environment.
• Strong background operating in a multi‑country, matrix organisation.
• Successful track record of leading organisational change and business transformation.
• Experience working with unionised manufacturing environments and employee representatives.
• Commercially focused with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Fluent English; additional European languages are a plus.
