Human Resources Business Partner – Benelux

About the role

Dematic is looking for a Human Resources Business Partner to lead HR activities across the Benelux region. You will work closely with senior local leaders and global HR teams to translate worldwide initiatives into effective local strategies and support the workforce.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a trusted advisor to senior management on all HR matters, shaping strategy and driving performance.
• Partner with business leaders to identify workforce challenges, develop solutions and manage employee relations.
• Serve as the primary liaison with the Workers’ Council, ensuring clear communication and collaborative relationships.
• Facilitate the local implementation of the Global Organisational Capability and Talent Review (OCTR) process.
• Lead organisational development initiatives, including change management, team‑building workshops and employee engagement programs.
• Ensure compliance with Belgian labour laws, conduct mandatory labour negotiations and manage HR policies to mitigate risk.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in HR within a matrix‑structured, multinational environment.
• Strong knowledge of Belgian labour legislation and collective bargaining processes.
• Proven ability to act as a strategic partner to senior leaders and to influence business outcomes.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, especially in council‑related matters.
