Housekeeping Supervisor Trainee Internship

About the role

Hilton Brussels Grand Place, located in the heart of Brussels, is looking for a Housekeeping Supervisor Trainee for a three- to six-month internship starting in 2026 or early 2027. The trainee joins the Housekeeping department from day one, learning its operations under the mentorship of an experienced team, and develops leadership and team-management skills.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with opening the department each morning: prepare and assign daily tasks, check inventory levels and get the team ready.
• Support closing the department: ensure rooms are cleaned to Hilton standards, prepare end-of-day reports and organise the next day's operations.
• Help manage housekeeping inventories, including cleaning supplies and guest room amenities, by monitoring stock, placing orders and coordinating deliveries.
• Manage departmental email correspondence, responding promptly and professionally to hotel departments and guest inquiries.
• Work with Front Office and Maintenance to ensure smooth communication and efficient operations.
• Inspect guest rooms and public areas regularly and report issues so they can be followed up.
• Take on other tasks depending on operational needs and ongoing projects.

Required profile

• Fluent in French; a good command of English is a strong advantage.
• Studying Hospitality Management or another relevant field.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enjoys teamwork, and is eager to learn.
• Available to start in 2026 or early 2027 for a three- to six-month internship.
