Help Desk Technician – Deskside Support (B2B/Freelance)

About the role

We are looking for a Help Desk Technician to provide on‑site, second‑line IT support for our Brussels office. The role involves troubleshooting hardware, software and communication systems, ensuring that legal teams and other staff can work efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver deskside support and second‑line technical assistance to end users.
• Install, configure, relocate and maintain laptops, desktops, printers, multifunction devices and other peripherals.
• Support mobile devices (iPhone, iPad) and telephony equipment, including handsets, switches and voicemail.
• Provide meeting‑room technical support for video‑conferencing tools such as Webex and webinars.
• Plan and execute office or desk moves, and offer VIP, conference and litigation support.
• Document incidents, manage assets in the ticketing system and create knowledge articles.
• Liaise with network operations and client‑computing teams, and coordinate with vendors to resolve issues.

Required profile

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a focus on customer service.
• Ability to work independently on‑site and manage stakeholder expectations.
• Good communication skills in English and French.
