Head of Retail – North Territory EMEA

About the role

The Head of Retail for the North Territory will partner with the Retail Director EMEA to turn regional strategy into measurable market impact across the UK, Ireland, Netherlands, Belgium, Sweden and Denmark. This senior, hands‑on position drives commercial performance, shapes the retail organisation and builds capability through Area Managers.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the cluster retail strategy aligned with EMEA priorities, prioritising investments and resources to grow market share, margin and loyalty.
• Own P&L and commercial levers (pricing, assortment, promotions, productivity) in collaboration with Finance and Commercial teams.
• Translate global campaigns into locally relevant plans, using sales, traffic, inventory and CRM analytics to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
• Ensure consistent execution of New Balance operational standards across owned and operated stores, including audit, compliance and loss‑prevention.
• Partner with the expansion team on site selection, opening plans and post‑opening ramp‑up to achieve commercial milestones.
• Manage regional operating costs, shrinkage targets and stock control processes across omnichannel fulfilment points.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in multi‑market retail environments with a track record of profitable growth.
• Strong strategic thinking, cross‑functional influence and executive presence.
• Ability to travel 70‑80% of the time across the North territory.
• Excellent analytical skills to interpret sales, traffic and inventory data.
