About the role

Alan is looking for a Head of Public Affairs to shape and influence regulatory frameworks that benefit its members in Belgium. The role sits at the intersection of technology, insurance and public policy, offering a unique chance to drive change in a complex European regulatory environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead flagship regulatory projects that enable Alan to expand its health‑partner value proposition, focusing on Belgium and European institutions.
• Define a user‑centric future for healthcare by combining human interaction, technology and data.
• Navigate complex legislative and regulatory processes and identify meaningful regulatory changes.
• Build and execute strategic policy roadmaps.
• Build and maintain relationships with Belgian federal and regional health ministers, parliamentary health committees, civil servants, healthcare federations, medical associations and digital‑health stakeholders.
• Represent Alan’s interests in policy discussions and regulatory consultations.
• Create strategic partnerships with Belgian healthcare institutions and innovation hubs.
• Translate complex Belgian healthcare policies into actionable business strategies and prepare Alan leadership for engagement.
