Head of Product Area

About the role

Gaming1, a leading international provider of land‑based and online games of chance, is seeking a Head of Product Area to lead a focused portfolio in Liège. You will define a bold product vision, translate it into measurable objectives and drive cross‑functional teams to deliver superior player experiences and business results.

Key responsibilities

• Define and communicate a clear, measurable product vision aligned with the company’s CX strategy and strategic pillars.
• Translate vision into multi‑quarter OKRs and ensure initiatives impact NPS, CSAT, GGR and retention.
• Represent the product area in senior leadership forums, influencing decisions and securing alignment.
• Directly manage a team of Product Managers: set goals, conduct 1:1s, performance reviews and foster their professional growth.
• Coach PMs on discovery, prioritisation, stakeholder management and data‑driven decision making.
• Build hiring, onboarding and career development frameworks for the product team.
• Maintain an outcome‑driven roadmap, balance speed, scope and business value, and partner with enterprise functions to unblock delivery.
• Promote experimentation, embed a data‑informed mindset and ensure alignment with company‑wide planning cycles.

Required profile

• 7+ years of product management experience in relevant domains, with at least 3 years managing product managers.
• Proven track record of defining strategy and delivering measurable outcomes at portfolio or mission level.
• Strong discovery skills: problem framing, hypothesis testing and validation.
• Experience with player account management platforms, loyalty, customer engagement or payments is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills in senior cross‑functional settings.
