Group Controller

About the role

As Group Controller you will report directly to the CFO and lead the financial reporting and performance management for the entire Frisomat Group. You will ensure consistent, accurate and timely reporting across all international subsidiaries while providing insights that support strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the monthly, quarterly and annual group reporting process.
• Review and validate financial reporting packages from international subsidiaries.
• Analyse financial performance across countries and business units.
• Prepare management reports and KPI dashboards for senior management.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and long‑term financial planning.
• Perform financial and investment analyses to back strategic decisions.
• Improve reporting processes, ERP systems and Business Intelligence tools.
• Act as finance business partner for international finance teams.
• Coordinate external audit activities at group level.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or equivalent experience.
• 7‑10 years of experience in controlling, audit or financial reporting.
• Background in an international, preferably manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, consolidation, budgeting and forecasting.
• Experience with IFRS and/or Belgian GAAP.
• Fluent in Dutch and English.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to subsidiaries.
• Experience in a Big Four or mid‑tier audit firm is a strong asset.
