Graduate Body Design Engineer

About the role

Join Toyota Motor Europe’s R&D Centre in Brussels as a Graduate Body Design Engineer. You will contribute to the design and development of interior vehicle components, ensuring performance, quality and cost efficiency from concept through to production.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop interior trim, instrument panels, seats and seatbelts for vehicle projects.
• Investigate style feasibility and collaborate with the Styling department.
• Create 3D CAD models and detailed production drawings.
• Work with suppliers and production engineering to confirm manufacturing feasibility.
• Ensure regulatory compliance in partnership with the Homologation department.
• Support plant production and quality engineers during production trials.

Required profile

• Recent university graduate (less than 18 months of experience, excluding internships).
• Fluent in English, the business language of TME.
• Degree in Engineering or Industrial Design.
• Strong interest in interior quality, materials and automotive design.
• Willingness to travel for business purposes.

Required skills

• 3D CAD modeling.
• Production drawing creation.
