Governance & Communication Advisor – Retail

About the role

We are seeking a Governance & Communication Advisor to act as the bridge between IT management, technical teams, and operational stakeholders within a leading retail organization. You will ensure clear communication, strong stakeholder engagement, and successful adoption of IT services and tools across stores and franchise networks.

Key responsibilities

• Define, structure, and maintain an IT Service Catalogue aligned with business and store needs.
• Promote and drive adoption of IT tools and processes among operational stakeholders and franchise networks.
• Translate technical concepts into clear, business‑oriented communication.
• Organise and lead communication initiatives, roadshows, presentations, and community events.
• Collaborate with IT leadership to align communication with strategic priorities and roadmap.
• Gather feedback from the field to support continuous service improvement.
• Build strong relationships with Business, Marketing, Finance, HR, and Operations stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven experience in Change Management, IT Communication, IT Marketing, or Internal Communication.
• Experience in the retail sector or franchise environments is a strong asset.
• Good understanding of IT service management frameworks such as ITIL.
• Excellent communication, persuasion, and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to simplify complex technical topics for non‑technical audiences.
• Dynamic, proactive, and comfortable interacting directly with operational teams and store managers.
