Global Head of Data Acquisition

About the role

UCB is seeking a Global Head of Data Acquisition to lead the data strategy across the organization. The role will enable the company to understand patient needs, support decision‑making, and ensure high‑quality healthcare data is accessible and trusted for insight generation.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement a unified data acquisition strategy that serves all therapeutic areas.
• Shape the vision and operating model for the Integrated Insights, Patient Evidence team.
• Guide specialists in acquiring high‑value data and ensure compliance with global standards.
• Collaborate with senior partners to prioritize data needs and align them with portfolio priorities.
• Explore and coordinate global data sources, partnerships, and long‑term value creation.

Required profile

• Master’s or Doctorate degree in a quantitative discipline.
• Proven experience advising on data acquisition strategy for key applications.
• Track record working with diverse global healthcare data sets.
• Experience leading and developing teams in complex, multi‑disciplinary environments.
• Ability to translate business questions into clear data requirements.
