Functional Analyst – Commercial Channels & Products

About the role

As a Business/Functional Analyst in YPTO’s AnalySD team, you will support the digital ecosystem behind all commercial channels for SNCB/NMBS Marketing & Sales. You will work across the website, mobile app, ticket vending machines, cash desks, onboard sales and B2B platforms, ensuring solutions add value and improve the customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse and document business needs, processes and objectives, translating them into functional specifications and user stories.
• Collaborate with development teams to align technical solutions with business goals and safeguard solution architecture.
• Support test planning, user‑acceptance testing, defect resolution and present functional designs to stakeholders.
• Identify bottlenecks, propose improvements and coordinate with architects.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience as a business/functional analyst with strong requirements‑gathering skills.
• Fluent in French or Dutch and English, with critical thinking, decision‑making and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Comfortable working in a dynamic, ambiguous environment and presenting to both technical and non‑technical audiences.

Required skills

• BPMN and UML modelling.
• Experience in SAFe/Agile environments.
• SQL and API knowledge.
• Basic programming skills and familiarity with Sitecore (a plus).
