Full-stack software developer

About the role

Moonbird, a health‑tech startup based in Antwerp, is looking for a full‑stack software developer to join its seven‑person team. You will work on a mobile app (React Native), a web platform (React) and backend services (Node.js, Python) that power a handheld breath‑work device. The role offers end‑to‑end ownership of features from concept to production.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain the React Native iOS/Android app and the React web interface.
• Build and extend Node.js and Python backend services, including APIs that connect devices, apps and cloud services.
• Implement integrations with a headless Shopify setup and third‑party services.
• Manage deployment pipelines, security configurations and operational monitoring.
• Create internal tools and data pipelines to support product and business needs.
• Leverage AI‑assisted development tools to accelerate coding and problem solving.

Required profile

• Strong generalist mindset with comfort moving between frontend, backend and infrastructure.
• Proven ability to take a technical project from idea through to live deployment.
• Professional fluency in English; Dutch is a plus.
• Curiosity for new technologies and AI‑assisted development workflows.
