Front Office Receptionist – Front Office & F&B (30h/week)

About the role

As a Front Office Receptionist with Food & Beverage responsibilities at Residence Inn by Marriott Ghent, you will be the first point of contact for guests and help create a welcoming, home-like atmosphere. Working 30 hours per week, you will split your time between front-desk duties and supporting breakfast and bar service.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests, manage check-in and check-out procedures, and handle reservations using the Opera property management system.
• Respond to guest inquiries, resolve issues, and promote hotel facilities and services.
• Assist with breakfast and bar operations, serve food and beverages, and maintain a clean, organized F&B area.
• Support the team during peak periods and special events to ensure high-quality service.

Required profile

• Guest-focused and adaptable with a passion for hospitality.
• Proven experience in front-office, hotel, or other customer-facing roles.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complaints calmly.
• Flexible to work varied shifts, including weekends.

Required skills

• Experience with Opera PMS or similar property management systems.
• Fluent English; Dutch and/or French are a plus.
