Freelance Senior Marketing & Communications Project Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Freelance Senior Marketing & Communications Project Manager to lead high‑impact B2B brand and communication initiatives for an international technology client across Belgium and Luxembourg. The role is hybrid, based in Brussels, and focuses on coordinating internal teams, external agencies, and senior stakeholders to deliver campaigns on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Own day‑to‑day coordination of a large‑scale B2B brand awareness campaign, managing creative and media agencies.
• Develop and maintain campaign timelines, governance structures, and budget tracking.
• Prepare bi‑weekly progress reports for senior management and challenge agency recommendations when needed.
• Support strategic communication projects linked to organisational transformation, ensuring timely delivery of materials and managing cross‑functional dependencies.
• Escalate risks, delays, and governance issues, and assist senior stakeholders in maintaining project momentum.
• Contribute to marketing governance by improving planning, reporting, and alignment of objectives, budgets, and deliverables.

Required profile

• Approximately 10 years of relevant B2B marketing campaign management experience.
• Strong knowledge of the Belgian media landscape.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders and external agencies.
• Excellent English with proficiency in Dutch and/or French.
• Full‑time availability preferred, with part‑time (4/5) considered.
