Freelance Data Analyst – Business Intelligence Mission in Antwerp

About the role

We are seeking a freelance Data Analyst for a short‑term, high‑impact business intelligence mission in Antwerp. Over a focused three‑day on‑site engagement you will work directly with senior management and operational teams to turn raw operational data into clear commercial insight.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse sales, logistics and procurement datasets to identify inefficiencies and performance gaps.
• Evaluate stock movement and purchasing trends to uncover margin‑optimization opportunities.
• Build actionable commercial insights and translate complex findings into practical recommendations.
• Design and deliver clear reporting, dashboards and KPI visualisations to support decision‑making.
• Provide a concise analytical summary and strategic next‑step actions for leadership.

Required profile

• Strong experience in data analysis or business intelligence, preferably in construction, building‑materials or wholesale distribution.
• Advanced Excel and data‑visualisation capabilities.
• Proficiency with Power BI, Tableau or similar tools and solid SQL knowledge.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
