Freelance Chemistry & Python Expert for AI Training

About the role

We are looking for a freelance Chemistry & Python expert to design and validate computational chemistry problems that are used to test and improve AI systems. The role is project‑based, remote and suited for specialists who can combine chemistry knowledge with Python programming.

Key responsibilities

• Design original computational chemistry problems that reflect real research workflows.
• Create problem statements that require Python solutions using libraries such as NumPy, SciPy, pandas and domain‑specific chemistry packages.
• Ensure problems are computationally intensive and cannot be solved manually within reasonable timeframes.
• Develop challenges that involve non‑trivial reasoning in physical, quantum and molecular modeling.
• Validate solutions by implementing them in Python and documenting correct answers.

Required profile

• Degree in Chemistry or a related scientific field.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in applied, research or teaching roles.
• Strong written English (C1 level or higher).

Required skills

• Python programming.
• NumPy, SciPy, pandas.
• MATLAB, R, C, SQL (any can be equivalent).
• Computational chemistry concepts and numerical methods.

What we offer

• Project‑based freelance contract.
• Estimated workload of 10–20 hours per week during active phases.
• Compensation up to $45 per hour, depending on expertise and contribution speed.
