Freelance Accounting & Tax Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a seasoned Accounting & Tax Specialist on a freelance basis to support our Group’s financial consolidation, reporting, and tax compliance activities. The role reports to the Finance Manager and works closely with auditors and internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the financial consolidation of all Group entities, ensuring data reliability and consistency.
• Prepare monthly management reports and quarterly statutory reports for the Board of Directors.
• Coordinate the annual financial statement preparation and act as the primary auditor liaison.
• Participate in month‑end closings, perform balance‑sheet analysis, and conduct data cleansing.
• Prepare VAT declarations and annual tax filings, and reconcile social and payroll liabilities.
• Support auditors during annual audits and propose necessary adjustments.

Required profile

• Higher education degree in accounting or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in accounting, consolidation, or financial control.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Proactive, solution‑oriented, and able to meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills in English and French.
