Forwarder – Forest

About the role

MPL is looking for a proactive Forwarder to join its Forest team in Antwerp. You will own the full shipment journey, from the first booking through documentation, transport coordination and final billing, ensuring customers are kept informed at every step.

Key responsibilities

• Manage import and export shipments, including order processing and transport planning.
• Prepare and handle forwarding documents and purchase invoice validation.
• Maintain communication with customers, providing updates and resolving issues.
• Ensure compliance with transport regulations and internal procedures.
• Collaborate with internal teams to optimise processes and improve service quality.

Required profile

• Experience as a freight forwarder, preferably with both import and export handling.
• Familiarity with warehouse environments and transport regulations.
• Fluent in Dutch and English; additional languages are a plus.
• Strong sense of ownership, autonomy and a proactive attitude.
• Ability to think creatively and adapt quickly to changing situations.
