Food Safety & Quality Assurance Assistant

About the role

We are looking for an FSQR Assistant to support our quality management system and ensure food safety across production. Reporting directly to the QA Manager, you will work on the shop floor, helping to maintain high standards and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate, implement and monitor operational procedures and standards in line with group requirements.
• Support quality and hygiene training for new employees and keep procedures up‑to‑date with regulatory changes.
• Assist in preparing and completing external audits and drive continuous improvement actions.
• Handle customer and logistics complaints, define corrective actions and follow up within the QMS.
• Create and maintain procedures, work instructions, product specifications, HACCP plans and ERP Bill of Materials.
• Manage cleaning activities, calibrate measuring equipment, take samples and perform quality control tests.
• Stay current with industry developments and best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Biotechnology or a related field.
• Relevant experience in quality management, preferably in the food industry.
• Hands‑on shop‑floor presence with strong relationship‑building abilities.
• Methodical, detail‑oriented and solution‑focused with the ability to work independently.
