Food & Beverage Trainee – Airport Hotel

About the role

The Food & Beverage Trainee will rotate through the hotel’s restaurant, banquet, room service, bar and lounge areas, supporting the delivery of high‑quality guest experiences. This full‑time, on‑site programme offers a hands‑on introduction to F&B operations, cost control and the conventions department within a leading airport hotel.

Key responsibilities

• Provide attentive service to guests across all F&B outlets, responding promptly to their needs.
• Assist in restaurant, banquet, room service and bar operations, ensuring standards are consistently met.
• Communicate with front‑office, kitchen, housekeeping and events teams to guarantee seamless service flow.
• Learn and apply the hotel’s policies, procedures and cost‑control practices.
• Support managers and senior servers in training new staff once competency is achieved.

Required profile

• Strong communication abilities and a customer‑focused mindset.
• Ability to work varied shifts, stand and walk for extended periods.
• Confidential handling of guest information.
• Fluency in French and English (written and spoken); Dutch is an asset.

Required skills

• Good knowledge of food products, standard recipes and proper preparation.
• Quick learning capacity and good memory.
