Food & Beverage Trainee – Airport Hotel

About the role

The Food & Beverage Trainee will rotate through the hotel’s restaurant, banquet, room service, bar and lounge areas, supporting the team in delivering high‑quality guest experiences. The role includes exposure to the conventions department and cost‑control functions, providing a solid foundation for a career in hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Serve guests across all F&B outlets, ensuring needs are identified and met promptly.
• Assist in the set‑up and service of banquets, events and special functions.
• Communicate effectively with Front Office, Kitchen, Housekeeping and Events teams to guarantee seamless operations.
• Learn and apply Gullivers, Lobby Bar and banquet policies and procedures.
• Support the F&B Manager and senior servers in training new staff and maintaining service standards.
• Participate in the Synergy program to develop multi‑skilled F&B service capabilities.

Required profile

• Strong communication skills and ability to anticipate internal customer needs.
• Good knowledge of food products, standard recipes and proper preparation.
• Quick learner with good memory, able to work on feet for extended periods.
• Confidential handling of guest information.
• Fluent in French and English (written and spoken); Dutch is an asset.
