Flexible Kitchen Assistant (Hotel)

About the role

We are seeking an energetic and reliable Kitchen Assistant to join our hotel kitchen on a flexible basis. You will support the culinary team with food preparation, cleanliness, and day‑to‑day operations, helping to maintain the high standards expected by our guests.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with basic food preparation and ingredient handling.
• Support chefs and kitchen staff during meal preparation and service.
• Wash, clean, and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and workstations.
• Keep kitchen areas clean and organized at all times.
• Help receive, store, and rotate stock and ingredients.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and health regulations.
• Dispose of waste and maintain cleanliness standards.
• Perform additional kitchen‑related tasks as required.

Required profile

• Previous kitchen or food‑service experience is an advantage.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, or holidays.
• Strong attention to cleanliness and hygiene.
• Physically able to stand for extended periods and lift light to moderate loads.
• Reliability, punctuality, and ability to follow instructions.
