Financial Services Consultant – TechFS

About the role

Accenture is looking for a Financial Services Consultant to join its TechFS team in Brussels. You will help large financial institutions design, implement and evolve digital finance platforms that drive business transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Structure the evolution and implementation of large‑scale digital finance platforms.
• Define specific solutions and take part in the implementation of information systems for banks and insurers.
• Translate business and functional requirements into clear specifications for developers.
• Coordinate and supervise activities across internal and external stakeholders.
• Deliver user training and support to ensure smooth adoption of new functionalities.
• Provide after‑care support for delivered systems.

Required profile

• University degree in Commercial or Civil Engineering, Economics, IT or a business‑related field with strong IT affinity.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in insurance, banking or capital markets.
• Solid understanding of insurance and finance processes with proven process‑re‑engineering ability.
• Experience in the Finance & Risk department of a bank is an asset.
• Functional knowledge of the Payments domain (e.g., SEPA Direct Debit, SEPA Credit Transfer, International Payments, SWIFT) is a plus.
