Financial Controller – SOX & Project Finance

About the role

Redwire Space is looking for a Financial Controller to join its European finance team. You will act as the local SOX expert while also partnering with project managers to drive financial performance and ensure accurate reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the Single Point of Contact for all SOX‑related matters, own and maintain the internal control framework, and support internal and external audits.
• Identify control gaps, lead remediation actions, and provide training on controls and compliance.
• Partner with project managers to set up and maintain project master data in the ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics 365) and ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, profitability tracking, cash planning and cash‑flow monitoring at the project level.
• Deliver performance reporting and analysis, translating data into actionable insights for cost control, margin evolution and financial risk management.
• Ensure revenue recognition and cost allocation are performed in line with US GAAP, BE GAAP and Redwire accounting standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in financial controlling, audit or a mix of both.
• Hands‑on experience with SOX/internal control frameworks.
• First‑hand experience in business controlling (budgeting, forecasting, analysis).
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365, including project structures.
• Familiarity with BE GAAP and/or US GAAP environments.
• Experience using reporting and BI tools such as Microsoft Fabric or Power BI.
