Financial Controller – Retail (Brussels Region)

About the role

We are looking for a Financial Controller to lead the financial controlling function for a fast‑paced retail network in the Brussels region. You will own the regional P&L, work closely with store leaders and regional directors, and turn analysis into concrete cost and revenue decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage monthly closing, variance analysis and store‑level profitability for the regional P&L.
• Run budgeting, forecasting and cost‑control cycles, providing clear recommendations to regional and central management.
• Ensure data quality, reinforce internal controls and monitor compliance with internal policies and regulations.
• Prepare regional reporting, identify trends, risks and opportunities, and deliver data‑driven insights.
• Partner with regional directors and store managers on revenue growth, cost optimisation and operational efficiency.
• Act as the financial reference point for the region, bridging stores and central finance.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accountancy or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in financial controlling, preferably in retail, FMCG or a multi‑site commercial environment.
• Fluent in Dutch and English, with good knowledge of French.
