Financial Controller

About the role

Join Mega as a Financial Controller and take ownership of the company’s financial performance in a fast‑moving energy and telecom environment. You will develop and maintain an FP&A framework, support ad‑hoc analyses, and ensure that your insights directly influence business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow) with variance analysis against budget and forecasts.
• Develop and maintain a cost and revenue assurance framework, ensuring proper revenue recognition and monitoring gross‑margin drivers.
• Create and update risk‑monitoring reports, identifying key financial risks and coordinating mitigation actions with stakeholders.
• Lead cross‑departmental projects, delivering analytical tools and supporting the implementation of new financial or operational processes.
• Continuously improve Mega’s processes and services to customers.

Required profile

• Master’s degree, preferably with an economic orientation.
• 2–5 years of experience in financial audit, controlling or FP&A.
• Strong analytical mindset, rigorous and detail‑oriented.
• Ability to work under strict deadlines and manage stress.
• Fluent in French, good knowledge of English; Dutch is a plus.
