Finance Operations Specialist

About the role

The Finance Operations Specialist will support the Reference Lab business by managing and optimizing billing processes for both B2C and B2B customers. Working closely with laboratory staff and the Accounts Receivable team, the role ensures invoices are accurate and issued correctly the first time.

Key responsibilities

• Generate and issue accurate invoices using MOLIS and IFS8 Cloud systems.
• Review and correct billing information to resolve discrepancies specific to lab services and contracts.
• Monitor billing cycles and ensure compliance with company policies and contractual terms.
• Trace and analyze billing interface workflows between MOLIS, IFS8 Cloud, and other integrated systems, collaborating with IT to resolve issues.
• Maintain and update customer master data, coordinating with sales, customer service, and finance teams.
• Prepare billing reports and summaries for management review.
• Document billing processes, interface workflows, and issue‑resolution steps.
• Identify and implement process improvements to streamline billing operations and enhance data accuracy.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in finance or billing operations.
• Fluency in English and French is mandatory; Dutch is a plus.
• Strong digital aptitude and comfort working with enterprise systems.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MOLIS billing system.
• Experience using IFS8 Cloud ERP.
• Knowledge of billing cycle management and invoice accuracy.
• Ability to analyze and troubleshoot interface workflows.
• Data quality and master‑data management skills.
