About the role
The Finance Operations Specialist will support Antech UK’s day‑to‑day financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and efficiency across Oracle and related systems. Working closely with the UK laboratory and finance teams, the role demands a detail‑oriented mindset and a drive to continuously improve processes.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain financial transactions up to the payment stage, including bank reconciliation and currency posting.
- Record and reconcile customer payments, monitor aging reports, and follow up on outstanding debts.
- Process supplier invoices, verify approvals, match to purchase orders, and execute weekly BACs payment runs.
- Reconcile vendor statements, resolve discrepancies, and handle supplier queries.
- Assist with month‑end close activities for accounts payable and support management control teams globally.
- Manage fixed assets, leases, and account receivable dunning processes, including US GAAP topics.
- Participate in ad‑hoc projects such as system migrations and implementation of new tools.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in finance operations or accounts payable.
- Fluent English and intermediate French communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive, “right‑first‑time” approach.
Required skills
- Oracle financial system.
