Finance Manager – International AI Studio

About the role

BOI is looking for a Finance Manager to own the full finance function across its Belgian and US entities. Reporting directly to the COO, you will shape finance processes, reporting, compliance and system infrastructure for a fast‑growing AI studio of around 50 people.

Key responsibilities

• Run monthly close, management accounts, cash‑flow monitoring and short‑term forecasting.
• Track project profitability and provide ad‑hoc financial analysis for senior leadership.
• Own client invoicing, revenue recognition, AR follow‑up and inter‑company billing.
• Manage AP processing, supplier payments, expense reimbursements and bank reconciliation.
• Handle VAT filings, Belgian tax compliance and coordinate US compliance with the CPA.
• Coordinate payroll with the Belgian social secretariat.
• Maintain the current finance stack (Exact Online, Xero, Spendesk, Google Sheets, Bright Analytics) and co‑own the Odoo migration through year‑end.

Required profile

• At least 5 years of finance experience, preferably in a Big 4 or finance‑outsourcing environment.
• Proven ability to run a full finance function in a fast‑moving, international scale‑up.
• Experience in professional services or project‑based businesses is a plus.
• Exposure to US entity finance and fluency in English and Dutch.
