Finance Business Analyst – Benelux & France

About the role

The Finance Business Analyst will own the P&L management, income‑statement reporting and business planning for the Benelux and France region. You will work closely with local finance teams and business partners to deliver accurate financial insights, support strategic projects and drive continuous improvement of reporting processes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the full P&L managerial process, including budgeting, medium‑term planning, forecasting and monthly/quarterly/annual results.
• Support the Finance Manager in the month‑end close to ensure alignment between the income statement and balance sheet.
• Analyse business trends, explain variances at country, business‑line and product level, and provide performance insights.
• Deliver ad‑hoc analysis to support sales and marketing performance and produce accurate forecast figures.
• Identify KPI opportunities, evaluate new projects financially and act as guardian of free cash flow (FCF) testing.
• Assist with local ad‑hoc and periodic reporting as well as statutory year‑end closing processes.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of progressive finance experience, preferably in controlling within an industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and GAAP accounting standards.
• Proven business acumen with the ability to translate data into strategic recommendations.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, with a focus on process improvement and automation.

Required skills

• Proficiency in extracting and analysing data from ERP systems.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Experience with process automation and re‑engineering.
• Solid understanding of IFRS and GAAP reporting.
